Yes made only by Trackmaster this is an early FP version I think 2010 or so. There could be a later less detailed version but there is definitely an ugly Trackmaster revolution version.

Brilliant, I like the Charlie conversion, it's very subtle, if trackmaster made defaced engines they would look like this!

That is so cool and because the tanks can come off makes it easier to paint them a different color.

I like everything about this Charlie especially swapping for black wheels but..... Is that a large sticker for the side windows and doors? That and the fact there are no front and rear facing windows makes him a little less desirable for me...darn it!

Now that I think about it, that tankless Charlie reminds me of...

Billy!

It looks like they used Billy's mould and added the large water tank to hide the old one, which was too small.

Billy!

It looks as if they used Billy's model and added the large water tank to hide the old, smaller boiler.

Well they are the same class of engine because they share the same basis.

What I meant was that the round, smooth, bare boiler underneath the removable water tank looks identical to Billy's (rather disproportionate) boiler, and they just hid it using a new water tank to correct the shape. And that was the reason why people thought they made an entirely new casting for Charlie, while in reality, they did reuse Billy's tooling with an added modification.

yes the battery cover might be the same but the plate over the chassis is slightly different, look at the size difference of the battery boxes

Hey ucwepn do you know where I could get some cheap smokebox doors so I can deface my Stephen and do something with to make him the Stephens rocket

RE: A couple of long waiting customs finished? - DalaGStanator - 09-05-2015

To make the original Rocket, you'd have to remove the whole smokebox and create an all new funnel.
