Sure seems like the sets aren't a very good deal since you are paying quite a lot more just for some track and a couple buildings that are easily attained. Hmmm, doesn't that trailing end car look different? I wonder if this is a one way facing train? The trailing car may be a luggage car. It just looks weird because we are use to seeing the front and rear as the same engines. I couldn't see the rear car in the pictures of the real train that I saw. Now it would be interesting to see what it really is, eh? Hmmm, maybe all the cars are powered and it doesn't have to turn around...inquiring minds want to know. RE: Not Sure, Is This Something New??? - Penybontshed - 08-23-2014 I noticed this one on E Bay, bit cheaper to? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221527753950?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT RE: Not Sure, Is This Something New??? - sunhuntin - 08-23-2014 boy, thats a good looking set, really nicely done! also nice to see something with a different end for a change, lol edit: this is the set for cheaper too http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hong-Kong-Airport-Express-Deluxe-set-Tomy-BATTERY-OPERATED-Train-Clear-Dome-/371127092465?pt=UK_Toys_Creative_Educational_RL&hash=item5668e604f1 RE: Not Sure, Is This Something New??? - Super - 08-23-2014 (08-23-2014, 06:56 AM)Penybontshed Wrote: I noticed this one on E Bay, bit cheaper to? Ho Penybontshed Thanks for the link as it looks like Leylandvictory1 was right about the rear car being a baggage car. It still may be a powered rear car as it has a windshield thus making it a two way train. And 3 cheers to Tomy for also putting the details on the box in English. ![]() RE: Not Sure, Is This Something New??? - leylandvictory2 - 08-24-2014 this train's design is a lot similar to the MTR EAST RAIL LINE TRAIN |
