He found it on Jauce or amazon japan and I think he paid close to $1000 for it :O It is definitely at the very top tier of all Thomas toys in rarity and value.

Yes it was Jauce...
Another surfaced just a few months later too, but it was a bit beat up...
It reached about $500 with many bidders, but it had a reserve on it that was never met, so it didn't sell and was never relisted.
