RE: Daiso Petit Trains - DalaGStanator - 04-27-2016 From what I've heard, a Take-N-Play can fit on the Daiso (or similar style) track. Are the power units able to push a Take-N-Play engine and/or train without causing problems? RE: Daiso Petit Trains - Nigels - 04-27-2016 They probably could on a flat surface, I'm not so sure how they would cope with an incline as the take-n-play trains are pretty heavy so traction might be a problem. If I get a chance at the weekend I'll give it a go if you need to know RE: Daiso Petit Trains - Super - 04-27-2016 These tracks look very similar to these http://www.blueplastictracks.com/showthread.php?tid=609&highlight=new+york+city+subway RE: Daiso Petit Trains - Nigels - 04-27-2016 As I mentioned on the other thread Super they are identical both the tracks and the configuration of the wheels/cars of the trains themselves. So almost certainly manufactured by the makers of the Daiso trains which is cool because if you purchased say the subway set or one of the santa fe ones you could expand it with the standard Daiso track/accessories and locomotives (even if you only wanted coaches or rolling stock) RE: Daiso Petit Trains - ActionChugger - 05-04-2016 I blame Nigels... BTW AC check out the thread 'New Clones?' I just posted my latest Daiso additions on there to illustrate that they are the same design as the clone sets RE: Daiso Petit Trains - ActionChugger - 05-04-2016 Quote:So how much did all that cost you? Not as much as many will think I bet?Not bad at all. He gave me a refund for combined shipping. I already emailed the seller that I am interested in buying more Quote: BTW AC check out the thread 'New Clones?' The only concern i have is the tracks has to really connect flat so the trains wont jump off track. So far Evan likes them. Have you found a catalog that list all of the petit parts? RE: Daiso Petit Trains - Nigels - 05-04-2016 No can't say I've found a catalog or even a listing online anywhere, but I think it was SunHuntin claimed he had the entire set so maybe he could type up what he has so we can compare our 'stocks'? One thing I've not been able to score yet are the stop/go tracks, have you found anyone selling those yet? I've got the straights, curves, points (both types), riser tracks, piers, tunnels, girder bridge, station, catanery (the overhead lines) and a good number of loco's now. Would be good to know what else there is to get though, maybe there's another site in the offing here after I knocked up the one for the Takara trains Have to agree about getting the tracks flat, although once connected the connectors are nice and tight so not likely to come apart very easily, so it just takes a little patience to get them together correctly in the first place RE: Daiso Petit Trains - ActionChugger - 05-04-2016 well you got me beat. I am waiting for the seller if he has more and will share with you. |
