I am confused. What other type of flat rate is there? Yes, Priority flat rate bubble wrap envelope, not a cardboard one. The form seems to indicate some postmasters have different rules? Makes no sense. Should be the same regardless. I was under the impression of it fits it ships.. Is this not right?

I agree with you.

Muddy, I felt bad.. I sent you a partial refund. Big Grin

Merry Christmas.. Hopefully this doesn't happen again with the flat rate envelopes..

No worries, I know. Just the principle that the charges you and I was the seller. Hopefully no one else has that issue.

Glad you like the train..

My weirdest delivery experiences of late is with of all people Amazon. Recently they've started up 'Amazon Logistics' here in the UK, all great in theory and as a long time prime member i'm used to the old excellent next day delivery.

However since the change and would you believe the 'deliver same evening' if you order before a certain time their delivery has turned to total rubbish.

Despite still being a prime member it seems I only get the much advertised next day delivery abouut 50% of the time, but the worst is I've had several incidents where the item is confirmed as being 'out for delivery' and guaranteed for say tomorrow. But tomorrow comes and goes and no delivery, so I wait another day, still no sign, so I contact them, "oh its definitely on the way please allow another day or two", then several days later i get an email announcing my 'return has been received and I should get my refund in the next 5 days". Except I've never returned it because it was was never actually delivered in the first place!!!

I then have to get in touch with customer services again, who then check and confirm it was not actually ever despatched and/or the delivery label was unreadable and the courier couldn't deliver it or... well you get the picture. But of course after its been returned the price has now gone up so I have to argue to get it re-ordered at the original price.

Now once I could understand, but this has now happened several times since they launched their own courier service, go figure...
