I thought about maybe trying too, but figured it would go over $500, and I wasn’t to thrilled to see yellow paint chips on both sides of his cab windows. It seems like a fair price for something so rare (1/100), but I think I’d rather pay more for one that’s in better condition.

I see.  Good luck in your quest in searching this rare item.  I am not willing to fork out $500+ for a rare thomas item.  Too expensive to my liking lol.
