One of my favorite videos Ucwepn. It helped me out immensely when I wanted to take apart my first engine.

Thanks! they are super simple to work on after you know how they work Big Grin There is a poetic simplicity and efficiency to these flat drives, I started out hating them hehe

So what is the faster motor I need??

This is the motor I use a lot - http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/161307901069?nav=SEARCH

I think ucwepn uses a lot of these too - in fact I think he suggests this motor in one of his videos?

Many thanks! What a helpful place this is

Yes Tramp is right I have used those "Hyper dash 2" and another favorite is the "power dash" both are a great mix of battery consumption versus speed. Ultra dash/plasma dash and higher I don't recommend unless you are running 3v+ and using high mah rechargeable batteries their current draw is double than say from a power dash.

Good for uphills and curves. Tech motor
1200 mA
12000 RPM

REV TUNED MOTOR

Nice find Super! The racing scene is very big in Japan and some other countries. It is great for us as it provides many possibilities for upgrades to our locomotives Big Grin
