E001 - Is This Train Made In PlaRail? - Nigels - 07-21-2017

I don't know about you, but every now and again I stumble across a train I think would make a great PlaRail model, here's one I came across in the latest hobby search mailshot, a type E001. What do you think you reckon this would make a good model? Would you buy it? What would you like to see them make?

A Plarail form of this train should be appearing soon in the near future.

That is a very unique design for sure with what looks like observation decks front and rear. I am curious to what the inside of the coaches look like with those small windows. Not sure if I would be purchasing one if Plarail released one, I would have to see it first.

@Plarnold
Thank you for that headsup. Do you know if it will be Limited Edition or general retail release?

Thanks super, I want a model of this train even more now Smile

LOL, Nigels

I am wondering what the model will look like with the 'squished' look of the Plarail line. One thing for sure, to me, I hope they use the dining car with molded and tinted windows rather than those coaches with the tiny windows which look somewhat odd to me. Hopefully it will look a bit better than the Plarail JR251...

Hmm, that's a good point Super, just have to pray they make an Advance version as well then lol!

The chances of an Advance version is almost zero.

Somehow I fear you are correct, although we had the new stations etc... last year there have been very few new trains offered since... Sad
