Now back to Muddy's Trivia question... What Thomas character was a part of the enactment of congress passing The Sherman Anti trust Act of 1890?
Wait a minute...Thomas is only 70 years old right??? And he was from the UK...right? He wasn't around in 1890 let alone in the USA...right? I am not sure but could it be a trick question?
Edward was around in the late 1800s, but he was working in the UK. I think it is the Narrow Gauge Stanley since he was American and was alive around then maybe?

I am not sure but could it be a trick question? Actually, Thomas was made in 190X, So he'd be more than 100 yo now. The 70 years is since the Railway series was first published, 1945. The Reverend Wilbert Awdry never wanted to published the stories at first but it was his wife that persuaded him to publish them. That marked the start of the TTTE franchise. Also, I'm from Canada, so I don't know much about USA history. Congress, is our House of Commons. Senate is the same.
More and more...

Play nice & have fun!!
LOL...I am just getting more confused...I think its best for me to just sit back and read and not comment.
@"Muddy Poppins " NWR guessed Stanley but I didn't see you reply if that is right or not.
No NWR I'm sorry it's not Stanley, nor is it a train or vehicle...
It's not Sir Topham Hat either... Hint: He is a handyman and mechanic who restored a character who was to be scrapped...
Play nice & have fun!!
