Plarail Thomas 30th Anniversary

Wow, I could see where a youngster would have loads of fun with this giant. Impressed with how much cool steam he can produce if that is in fact how much the real, retail, one will actually produce. I am curious if the motorized Thomas that comes with the set (is he included?) is somehow different like a different stickers or for Muddy, a different expression.

Based on the packaging (see the red circle), it doesn't appear it will come with a motorized Thomas. 



It only comes with the green tip truck, a shovel and a bunch of the black balls (sorry I don't know the proper terminology to describe those balls).  Not that people mind that much given most of us has so many motorized Thomas in our inventory lol.  

Too bad this thomas doesn't let off the steam on the side as well.  Otherwise it would be awesome.

Seems like they are attempting to revive that one giant Thomas from the early to mid 2000's.

There is also this Rainbow Thomas set with the Rainbow Bridge and rainbow tracks... That bridge we have seen already in a set with Bertie, but this is a new set, isn't it?

That's actually really cool, that they re-released it and they kept it exactly the same as the 2015 version, which I do have, so I won't need this.
Can this set a precedent for more re-releases?
