To be quite honest, it looks like Emily's put on weight with this redesign; another "Edward" issue to probably follow with her, as her drive wheels are only painted on and no longer have the side rods.

The 2-in-1 Track Builder set is almost like any other beginner set in my eyes; to be blunt, HiT Toys starter sets were a bit more intriguing, but TAKARA TOMY Plarail starter sets are certainly worth your money over this.

Any ideas as to costs?

I don't really mind Emily although it feels like she's just lost her uniqueness with the wheels. I think it's rather odd to have Emily released now on her lonesome instead of at the start of the line or with another batch of generic engines.

I actually really like the 2-in-1 Track Builder set because I don't recall seeing convertible pieces like that, and I think it looks more interesting than the other few starter sets at the moment.

I haven't seen these anywhere else on the net yet beside Smyths Toys in the UK. 2-in-1 is due 21st November for £16.99, and Emily on the 28th for £12.99. Not sure if that helps or not.

So the Mudslide Mountain Set has been released in the UK.

So, do we prefer the mud or the snow? At least both of them have a special Thomas, and it looks like this track uses a lighter colour. I've been used to the TrackMaster brown track that this set's track looked normal when I first saw it.
im not liking the multiple track colors in one set. its meant to be a mudslide, since when were they blue?! i was never fond of the station attachment tracks from original trackmaster being different to the rest either. too used to tomy where every piece was blue.

Ummm great job on a recolored set Mattel

New items either for this month or 2015. The Harbour Road listing says "new for 2014" but they aren't expecting them until 2015. This goes for Emily and the 2-in-1 Track Builder Set.

He looks okay, just a little squished like the others, and those buffers... Dodgy

Breakaway Bridge Set: https://www.harbourroad.co.uk/acatalog/T_TRS_BBS.html
This looks like the sort of unique set that shows off the abilities of these engines. Of course the "broken bridge" is made so Thomas goes along on one rail with ease, but it's a good looking new design.
Thomas really balances on 2 wheels...interesting.
interesting looking set! wonder if it will work with the tender engines as well?

Wouldn't that be something...a whole train balancing on 2 wheels. Cool
