Holy Smokes...one Thomas pulling all this??? I wouldn't have thought that the Thomas style motors were powerful enough. Wow...can anyone count how many are in that rake?

I did notice a few cars in the consist had on/off switches, so it’s possible Thomas is getting some help. There was at least one pair of coaches showing the telltale kink the suggested pushing by a motorized unit. I suppose they could also be using an uprated motor of some sort.

What I find equally impressive is that the train didn’t derail. You have to engineer some very gentle curves in addition to the long straight runs they obviously have for that not to be an issue. I wonder if some of the cars have added weight to help prevent derailments?

EDIT: I counted 69 cars in the consist. Could be a little more or less but apparently in the neighborhood of 70. That’s awfully darned impressive!

Ah...good eye OTR, I now see the 2 powered Annie (or is it Clarabels) coaches within the long procession.

The caption is a bit of a clue!       トーマス 70両 編成 = Tōmasu 70-ryō hensei = Thomas 70-car formation
Wow, 70 cars...lets see, the coaches are maybe 4" long with about 3/4" between each car, that makes the length about what... 27 feet long...is my math right?...wow
Wow, 70 cars...lets see, 4" for each car, 3/4" between each car...total length almost 28 feet...is my math correct?...wow
