Tokyo Shopping Haul!!!

We are in Tokyo and after the obligatory touristy do, we finally hit the malls and a few thrift stores. Although have preordered Ashima and Caitlin, couldn't resist not having them in hand, LOL.

Awesome...I would love to be in your shoes right now and be able to visit those Tokyo Resale shops and its also good to know that Caitlin and Ashima have released. Those are some great trains and sets. Thanks for sharing with us ND Smile

Doooooood! That’s one heck of a haul! I have to admit being especially impressed by that Shinkansen to Tokyo Station set.

It’s always an adventure going in an and out of those stores. I got a car rental for trains hunting spree as we went/are going to the stores outside Tokyo and it will be easier to go from one branch to another, no to mention lugging those trains ???

We are back home with more awesome haul!!! It was a good decision to rent a car and drove out of Tokyo to check out the recycle stores. Couldn’t believe our luck on finding some of the stuff. Had to restrain the buying spree when the reality of checked baggage allowance sets in, LOL.

Yes, there’s always that option but the plan was not to pay $10-$30 for a boxed train set and ended up with exorbitant shipping charges Huh

so we just needed to make it work within our 6 pieces checked baggage with 240kg allowance Smile
