But were they that expensive when first released?

(One in picture)I also would love a UP Big Boy type locomotive and maybe even a Angry James!

Whoa!!!
Try to keep your picture sizes small enough to fit in the post without scrolling to the side. For example I have resized yours to fit above and its 860x471. Keeping the long, horizontal, side under 900 should work OK. It is a beauty. Is that a model or on HO train? It looks real. Very nicely weathered and dirty.
HO Scale, sorry I do this on a phone it is glitchy. It's actually my friends, he has TONS of these, and has a 4-15 foot track
If plarail made one of those, I'd buy that up in a second!

I would be right behind you to buy one too!
I wish Tomy would...
...make more dummy engines that can be used as double header engines. Frankly, I think I would buy just about one or more of every one they made if it was a dummy of an engine I already had. What would be even better, is if they would make the front hook with the hole in the back like coupler piece and have a post in the front (like a powered tender has). This way you can reverse the hook and coupler to either have the dummy engine face forward or to the rear. This wouldn't work with every engine. Like the bullet or shinkansens wouldn't need it or the electric models. Would be great for all the steam engines, all diesels and the F Units. Can you think of any more? Come on Tomy, how hard could that be?...Tomy???...I know you are listening!
I'm not much of an ideas suggestor now, but I do have a few things I would like to see. This is for TrackMaster though.
I'd like to see Toby rereleased to the line, and the only way I can picture a special release with him would be in the Greatest Moments series for next year, where he can include a redesigned Henrietta which is shorter in length like other cars, the shape modified and a darker colour with her new face, and a third truck, which I'd like to see a van with a opening door or a brakevan. I think it would be great to see a storage case since they exist in the Plarail range, which maybe can open up to a basic countryside scene moulded with plastic with houses and a windmill. Maybe the case can close up and fit about four big engines. Lastly not so much an idea now but it would have existed a few years ago was to have a Blue Mountain Track Pack. I can't believe Fisher-Price never made one. The Blue Mountain track is really nice but there's so few of it being in Risky Rails Bridge Drop/Thomas' Daring Drop, and in the US set, Blue Mountain Quarry Delivery. There's not even any points with buffers in Risky Rails and I'm thinking when the time comes to add it to a layout, I'd have to take the whole of the bottom curved track pieces off and connect them to brown points so it doesn't look inconsistant. A missed opportunity.
More automatic track switch
