Good eye Muddy thanks for the Link

Strange, what language is the box in...Polish? I must admit that he seems to have quite a lot of detail for a Trackmaster II. You guys won't believe how much I shake my head at every new Trackmaster train with those USELESS holes in their wheels and, geesh, you couldn't even come up with drive wheels that weren't for side rod engines with that huge hole in addition to the others? How unaware are these people?

They really could stand to be smarter about the wheels. I mean, yeah, it's cheaper to reuse the wheels, and not many kids will notice surely, but it is annoying to those parents/adult fans of Thomas that the merch rendered isn't as accurate as it could be. Minor aesthetic changes could make for the better.
I do wonder now though, if they chose to give Ettiene standard wheels, if they'd do the same for the likes of Daisy if she ever returned... hmm

Maybe a child will get thier tongue, or a very tiny finger tip caught in one of those holes one of these days, and FisherPrice will be sued for their "design flaw" and finally be forced to correct those dumb holes!?!? Lol

If its simply a matter using the same molds for all trains wheels then changing it once to move the holes is all they need to do because it is evident that they will never need them again for the plastic rod packaging again which is why the holes are there in the first place as they now use plastic trays. Doesn't sound like it would take much to remove that part on one mold once to make thousands of correct wheels. After all its not like they have to re-engineer the whole thing. I just don't get it and I guess I never will.

As Super said earlier, I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of detail carried over from his prototype; The official image of his box made it look as though the detail was heavily removed, even though it was all still there. Even his moustache has the correct thickness and is not overly prominent. It's 2017 and I'm still wondering why he wasn't released shortly after the film, and why the marketing potential of the other new engines was not fully utilized.
