Tokyo - Plarail what and where to buy?

What do you mean, a few bags from the Plarail Shop? Whats in them?

Just empty bags, the white ones with Plarail logo on them. Sometimes seen in the background in the Japan auctions.

But in all seriousness, for anyone that has been on knows in general what and where would be good to get? Obviously it would likely be checked into luggage so sets would be tough to do but I am thinking I can likely get a few trains anyway. Plarail exclusives would probably be good, or maybe some other more rare items that are hard to fine in the auctions but maybe still available in the shops?

Any thoughts?

I think there's a shop in Tokyo station, maybe one in Osaka? I don't there's one in Osaka, I'm thinking of the Kirby Cafe.

I think it would be cheaper to ship my house to Tokyo than go there and try to bring back all the stuff I'd want if the opportunity ever arose. Talk about a kiddie in a sweet shop, it wouldn't even come close lol!

im with you, nigels. i have often wondered how much it would cost to ship a 40ft shipping container? lol.

and then the worrying bit is something happening to the ship. a few years back, a container ship beached itself on a reef here and sits there to this day. many of the containers, as far as i know, are still there or else were damaged and spilled the contents. rumor was a mega bucks muscle car was in one, and never got recovered.

A shipping container would be awesome full of Tomy Plarail items. If only a member owned a cargo ship..

It wouldn't surprise me to hear that AC has one, or if not is currently building one out of lego

There was a cargo ship sank off the UK coast a few years back, it was insane, there were people up and down the coast going there and 'salvaging' the contents of the containers, there were pictures of people driving off on BMW motorcycles and all sorts of stuff lol!
