Question Regarding Making Track Layouts

Is there any program or online flash thing I can use to create virtual blue track layouts? I'd really love to know, so that I could make sure I buy all the right track pieces for a certain layout, and easily plan out new ones.

I remember someone else asking about this in a thread and the discussion that followed.
