he probably does not he is an eccentric old British man, I am friends with him on Facebook he does much traveling and is very nice, But I know I have talked to other Plarail people on FB about the BPT website and they are not interested as it is not as convenient to check multiple sites when they are going to go on Facebook anyhow daily and there are Plarail groups on there, why have external sites to have to check is their thinking, even one of my friends in Hong Kong scoffed at me starting my Plarail site, he said why not just make a Facebook page of your collection then More people will see it and they can press "like" I told him that wasn't the point of my site. And just to let you guys know I am proud to say My site "Myplaraildepot" has had 550+ views so screw Facebook! haha

I guess so! either way I prefer this type of group to the Plarail groups on FB and I definitely like how my site looks compared to a cheap FB page of my collection would look. I do not need likes on my site It is just as much for me as it is for others all that matters is that I like it!
You got it my friend...
And here is a little secret...I'll bet that those FaceBookers that poo poo this site visit us everyday to see whats going on. They just don't register. (05-27-2014, 07:17 PM)Super Wrote: You got it my friend... I know 5 people that do that

Plarailmike videos are great. His collection has been my inspiration for trains to collect. Especially those black steamies.
There are some great videos I've found on Youtube (often with non-English titles) but I can't find them again. Computer controlled trains and points, Remote control electronics installed and more. Oh and then there's to crazy fast ones running on tamiya mini 4wd tracks. If I find them I'll post.
This is absolutely the most ingenious, engineering marvel, 8th wonder of the world. The first time I saw this my jaw dropped and when I saw a plane take off I was floored. If you have never seen or heard of Germany's Miniatur Wunderland all I can say is awesome and incredible are understatements. I sure wish I could visit this place. Check out the video below to see what mankind's genius can do.
Because of this video I wanted to learn more about this place especially what goes on behind the scenes and how they made this wonderful place. I discover 40 videos from start to finish on how the built the Airport. Yes I watch everyone of them, I was mesmerized and guess what...it was in German and I didn't understand one word but I had to keep watching. Gerrits Tagebuch is the genius behind this wonderful place and I loved listening to him even though I didn't understand him. You might find this funny but there were times when I even turned up the volume to hear Gerrits better. You could just feel his enthusiasm. The second video is the first of 40. Has anyone here visited this place? Forgot to post the website for Miniatur Wunderland http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/ They have many more videos here http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/exhibit/video/
