Custom Tomy Thomas Trains

Hi Guys I just wanted to know how I could make Tomy versions of Derek and Class 40 from the Thomas the Tank Engine TV Series. I will post some photos of it so you can help me think of a good basis model

The kf 03 type dd51 851 front train would work for Derek and for class 40 I say use a diesel 10
