We found the Mini Track that comes with the special Percy! It was at a Walmart in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Here are some pics.

We also picked up more of the wave 2 trains we were missing. Only 11 missing now off the checklist, not including the special Percy that came with the track.

I thought I would give a bit of a review after having the Twist-n-Turn Stunt Set for a day now. It's a really fun toy, and the perfect addition to the Mini Engines. It was really easy to put together and works very well.

If I had to find some things to criticize it would be that sometimes we find the square faced engines get stuck at the top. If you aren't careful I could see the gear stripping eventually which would be terrible. My son who is 4, finds turning the gear a little hard, so I end up doing it most of the time. Also, this set doesn't leave a lot to the imagination. Our son likes to spend hours building his own tracks and driving the trains around himself. As fun as this set is it really does one thing and I can see that limiting the play time it gets. So far we have come up with a few games to make it a little more interesting.

Overall I definitely recommend getting this set. All though I have a feeling this group would be picking up anyway. Hopefully they come out with additional track sets for these mini engines, or even some sort of expansion to this set.
thanks for the review. what was the retail on it?

what does it actually do? i figure the gear is what brings the engines to the top. do they then randomly go down a track to the bottom without any interaction from the user?
do they ever get stuck on the green track? pretty clever how it uses the underside spaces. i was wondering what that was about.

$24.99 Canadian

You turn the gear which brings the engines up to the top. Once at the top they go down the track and right back to the lift to the top. You can move a divertor that will push them to either track.

I will try a get a video of it later and post a link. For some weird reason Scruff will not go up the lift. It gets stuck every time. Something about scruffs shape gets him stuck every time.
The Twist and Turn play set looks fantastic!!! I found 2 new 8-packs that I didn't have. One has Metallic/Special Percy and the other has Metallic/Special Edward included. Still can only find 1-18 in blind bags. I've looked in WV, OH, KY, & TN. Hope they come to my area soon!

the new wave 3 minis are up on toot toot toys. http://www.toottoottoys.com.au/collections/thomas-minis

of the 23, there were 16 i didnt already have from the current releases. would have been 12, except i wanted the DC engines to have loose ones as well.

so, ive ordered

James
Winter Gordon
Mono Salty
Super Diesel
Emily
Racing Dash
Paxton
Dino Stephen
Victor
Bill
Luke
Spooky Porter
Thomas as Superman
Millie as Harlequin
Diesel 10 as the Joker
Spencer as Cyborg

comparing this list with the pics of the most recent 3 and 8 pack blisters in the states, that left 5 i need. one each in two different 3packs [chillin edward and chillin skarloey], and three in an 8pack [metallic percy, robo millie and racer spencer]. given that, it would be in my interests to wait for wave 4, unless i find that 8 pack for an insanely good price.

to clarify, the 5 needed would bring me up to date with the current minis available, excluding the stunt track set and warriors boxed set [just released, contains 45 pre-released minis and 5 new warriors. retails $40 at walmart]

Sunhuntin - quick question? So have you found neon Henry? That's the one particular engine my son wants. Just checking that I didn't miss him. I'm going first thing in the morning to check out my Walmart for the track set and wave 3!!! I will let you know what I find in San Diego!
Could someone confirm that the DC friends minis will be released in blind bags, or a blister pack at some point?
